BYD is the leading Chinese electric vehicle maker and the company has now introduced the Seal electric sedan in India. According to the latest information, the BYD Seal has been priced at Rs 41 lakh, the premium version at Rs 45.55 lakh and the performance version is priced at Rs 53 lakh, all exshowroom prices.

As per the design, it gets Double U floating LED headlights with a glistening ripple lamp while in the back it has a boundless LED tail light with sporty black diffuser. It offers electronic hidden flush door handle, 19-inch precision blade wheel hub, and waterdrop-shaped side mirrors.
In the inside view, it comes with a black interiors with bolstered sports front seats that has heating, ventilation, and electronic adjustment features. In the back, it has a three seat design with 60/40 split option. BYD Seal is based on an e-platform 3.0 model that the company claims to offer enhanced space, safety, and performance. BYD claimed the car can do a sprint from zero to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. BYD Seal also boasts superb mileage of 650 km. BYD claims with just 15 minutes of charging it can go up to 200 km.

Shrirang Joshi, national sales head at BYD India Pvt Ltd, said that those who have book the car before March 31 will get a 7 kw home charger with free installation, a 3 kw portable charger, BYD Seal mobile power supply unit, 6 years road assistance, and one complimentary inspection service for free.
The company had opened the bookings for Seal on February 28. Customers who buy the BYD SEAL by April 30th, 2024, may have the opportunity to participate in an exclusive scheme organised by BYD India for a lucky few. BYD Seal comes with eight years and/or 1.6 lakh kilometers warranty for battery.
