JAC iEVA50 Issue with battery

The recalling reason for the ev car is having a problem with the battery management system software strategy, when the vehicle has not been in the store for maintenance for a long time, the voltage difference between the internal cells of some power batteries gradually increases.

The voltage difference exceeds the design value and may cause the vehicle to drive at limited power. , in extreme cases, a high-voltage power outage may occur and the vehicle loses power, posing safety risks.

This recall was carried out after the State Administration for Market Regulation launched a defect investigation. Affected by the investigation, Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group Co., Ltd. will upgrade the battery management system software of the vehicles within the recall scope for free to eliminate safety hazards.
