Tata Motors launches Ace EV 1000, VinFast will enter the Philippines market
Tata Motors (an Indian Electric Vehicle maker) has now introduced the new Ace EV 1000, an electric mini-truck developed for last-mile deliveries. As per the specifications, this new Tata electric vehicle (EV) lineup boasts a payload capacity of one tonne and a single-charge range of 161 kilometres. The company is totally looking forward for a zero-emission operation.
The Ace EV is powered by an EVOGEN powertrain that offers a 7-year battery warranty and a 5-year comprehensive maintenance package. It will be available with versatile cargo decks and will be on sale at all Tata Motors commercial vehicle dealerships across the country. The Ace EV is powered by a 27kW motor, delivering 130Nm of peak torque for superior pickup and grade-ability.
TATA said this new mini truck comes with a sophisticated battery management system and the Fleet Edge telematics platform, the vehicle promises high uptime and efficient fleet management.

VinFast will enter the Philippines market
Vietnam’s new car manufacturing VinFast Automobile has now officially confirmed that it will officially enter the Philippine market at the end of May 2024, introducing electric vehicles, electric motorcycles and electric bicycle products.
According to reports, as part of its global development strategy, VinFast has invested in markets including the United States, Canada, Europe and most recently Indonesia, India and Thailand. The company is expected to hold a brand launch event for the media on May 31 in Manila, Philippines, and for the public on June 1-2. The VF e34, VF 5, VF 7 and VF 9 electric vehicles, six electric motorcycles and the VF DrgnFly electric bicycle will be on display.
