Tata Motors Reaches 150,000 EV Sales Milestone

Tata Motors has now hit a major milestone in its electric vehicle (EV) business, as per the latest information the company sold over 150,000 units in India. The company saw impressive year-on-year growth of 48%, selling 73,800 EVs in FY2024 compared to 50,000 units in FY2023.

Currently, Tata Motors offers four all-electric models: the Nexon EV, Punch EV, Tiago EV, and Tigor EV. Prices for these EVs range from Rs. 7.99 lakh to Rs. 19.49 lakh (ex-showroom), catering to a broad customer base with electric hatchbacks and SUVs.

Tata Motors plans to expand its electric lineup with the upcoming Curvv EV and Harrier EV, both set to launch in FY2025. The Harrier EV was recently spotted with a rear-mounted motor, suggesting it will feature an AWD configuration.

Additionally, the Tata Nexon EV and Punch EV recently received five-star ratings in the Bharat NCAP crash tests, excelling in both child and adult occupant protection.
